I often find myself drawn to things that remind me that I was born and raised in the South. I love ALL things southern, whether I eat them, own them, visit them, or say them! Can YA'LL hear what I am a sayin'?
Therefor, I pledge to to come up with twenty (or so) things that I love about being a southerner each week and to post them for you to enjoy. Maybe a few of these will remind you of how great it is to be in the SOUTH!

Suzanne
Oh....I should have explained...
Cheerwine, only found in the most southern states (SC, NC, FL, AL, GA) is like a coke with a kick! Might even have a little bit of a cherry flavor. I love the taste! If you ask mnay residents of the states that I mentioned, they will admit that they like it too!
LOVE this post and look forward to this weekly!
AND I agree with practically every single one :)
I do know about Cheerwine but I also love Ale8-1!...which I think is strictly a KY thing?! I've only been exposed to it because of my mama ;) and you can't get it in TN, or GA ?!
Great list!
It is great to be a Southern Girl! Never heard of Cheerwine though...will have to look into that one. I still love a cold RC!
This post made me smile, I love it.
-Cheers, Amy
I am floating around the web looking for head board ideas and found your blog. I love how I can start one place and then end up some place wonderful, like here! Anyone who knows what a fluffer nutter (peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich)is, is quite fabulous in my book. I am a Yankee girl who loves the south and sweet tea!
