Something for your DOME

We once had a friend explain to us that every "southern lady" must have a cake dome in her kitchen. Not just have it, but have it filled with something pretty to eat. She said that when she visited her dear friends, she would always ask, "What's in your dome"? We thought this was hilarious and often find ourselves with our girlfriends talking about our "domes". Once a week we will post a neat recipe for something to put under your dome. You never know who might drop by for a snack...Rachel?? Amy??

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup butter

1/3 cup buttermilk

2 cups all purpose flower

3 small mashed bananas

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup chocolate chips

1/8 teaspoon salt

Vanilla icing (optional)

* Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla

* Mix flour, soda, and salt. Gradually add butter mixture

* Add buttermilk, bananas, and chocolate chips

* Spoon into greased muffin pan

* Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes

* May frost with icing

makes 6 muffins

ENJOY!!!

WELCOME HOME

Hello dear friends! Can you belive it, Rachel and Amy have lost their minds... again. The Lord can lead us down many different paths, and this one is definitely a road that we are SUPER excited about.
We love a good find, a unique recipe, or a fun decorating dilemma. So that being said, we wanted to invite our ecclectic style into your home. Come on in, stay awhile, and enjoy the craziness of two women with minds that never stop and ideas that make us giggle with glee (or send us to the local craft store).

For the 10 of you that will visit often, thank you in advance.
