The long awaited day finally arrived...the day, that is, that we could get our new little bundle of joy. No, No, we didn't adopt...sorry...we got a new puppy! She is our new princess...and that she will be. In this house of rowdy and rough boys, we now have our little girl. Her name is Lucy, although, we call her every cute name under the sun. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and her color type is Blenheim. So, for those of you out there who remember what it's like to have a pup in the house...if you have any GOOD advice for us (it's been awhile), pass it on people!! I'm also trying to come up with a good name to go with Lucy for her papers so any help with that is appreciated as well. Okay, well, I'm off to play with my pup...I've left you with some pics of our first night. My boys LOVE her!!

Love your blog, sweet puppy, great testimony of faith - love it all!
I have added you guys to my blog - is that ok?
Please stop by sometime, I am just getting started with my blog and would love a visit.
Blessings to you !
We are FINALLY out of the potty training stage. Addie did GREAT potty training. We would stick her nose in her pee or poo and tell her no and spank her butt then take her immediately outside. We would also give her a SMALL treat when she would actually pee or poo outside. Consistancy has proven to be the best thing(at first I wanted to spoil her and Andrew was the "mean" one) but we both gave in a little bit and she is FAB!
I can't wait to meet her!

Oh those dogs are the cutest!! Have to tell you I love your blog and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! I gave you an award today over at mine! Enjoy your sweet little Lucy!
How cute!!! I love your site and think it's just the coolest thing that you & your friend are contributing to it together!!! I'll be back tonight to check out some of your older posts!!!
Our yellow lab just had 7 puppies, and we just went through that stage. My biggest advice from many dogs is to kennel train them. It's amazing the security they get from that, not to mention a "haven" for them from the kids. The first few nights, they cry, but within a week, he will be staying dry all night and holding it until you take him out. Puppies are the best....have such fun!! (I truly think they are more work than newborns...hee hee)
What a doll! Susie h~
Well the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Lucy is the Beatles song "Lucy in the sky with diamonds".
I crate my dogs in the evening's for bedtime. My girls love their crates. They feel secure. They whine at first, but I let them whine until their tired and they go to sleep. Play with them before bedtime, at least 20-30 minutes it wears them out and they sleep better.
And train them to go potty too before they crate if you choose to do this method.
Good luck
Lucy is precious and such a cutie.
Oh, this was my first visit to you. I'll be back.
Ciao
