Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I have never done this before, but after this week, I thought I had some good ones!
I did not buy this hat for my child's Easter Basket just because he likes to wear hats and I liked the team's colors and it matches a lot of his clothes.... NOT ME!
I most certainly did not put off shopping for an Easter dress for my daughter this year and then place a call to my sister to see if she had something that I could borrow... NOT ME! I have had my son's outfit for weeks!
I did not get my children all excited about coloring eggs only to never let them touch the dye or the eggs... NOT ME!
*I did let them use the stickers.
I did not take my children to an Easter Egg hunt to get candy, and there were so few hidden eggs that I started explaining the economy to a 3 and 5 year old...NOT ME!
a few more...
I did not take my daughter to get her haircut this week and the stylist did not find a tick in her hair and I did not scream like a little girl and make the stylist get it out... NOT ME!
I did not let my daughter eat an Easter cupcake for breakfast because I have not been to the grocery this weekend... NOT ME!
I most certainly did not tell my kids one day that I could not play in the back yard with them because the day before they had seen a snake... NOT ME!
I did not let my kids fall asleep with the T.V. on last night because I was tired of reading books... NOT ME!
LASTLY... While getting my daughter ready for school this morning, I did not try to convince her that she doesn't need to go to Kindergarten next year, and that she should stay home with mommy. She did not respond by saying, "I love you mom, but that is the craziest thing I have ever heard!" Nope... NOT ME!

Too funny! I may have to get in on this action next week. I too, let my boys eat candy for breakfast on Easter. They didn't appreciate it so much at children's church : )

Oh, this was so fun to read. Anyone who is honest can say, "Yep, I've done that too." Sometimes it's "survival of the fittest" when you're in the trenches of young parenthood. Your adorable children look "no worse for the wear" judging by the smiles on their faces.
And I LOVE the Easter buckets. Great job.
This was great, Amy...loved it!

Too funny! I had a laugh reading! Thanks!
This was soooo funny...everyone of your "not me's". My goodness I would have screamed about the tick also! And I saw a snake once in my backyard in Mississippi and NEVER went in the backyard again girl! I'm with you on everyone one of these:) I'm still laughing........
So funny! We all say and do crazy things, don't we?!
Thank you so very much for coming by my blog and taking the time to compliment our kitchen. You are such a sweetheart! Your words really mean the world to us. And yes, you can come over and vacation here anytime. Ha ha! Although Indy isn't such a "great" place to vacation. HA HA! We have a second home in Bonita Springs, FL. Jump in a suitcase and come there with us instead. I promise it will be much more exciting then being here in Indiana with us. :)
Thanks again for your blog comment girl. It's greatly appreciated. Keep in touch.
Blessings, Angie Seaman
