We are in love with a 2 lb. fur ball at our house! Despite all the talks about how Santa does NOT deliver live animals, you can MAYBE have a dog when you are 10, they are VERY hard to take care of, etc... Santa did not disappoint this year. Ruby Mae greeted our fun-loving children with licks and playful reserve on Christmas morning. The first words from my daughters mouth were, "I think I am going to cry". I wanted to say the same about my temporary moment of insanity, but smiled and enjoyed the new found energy in our home. Needless to say, this Christmas will be one to remember!!
Yes, he got eye black in his stocking...
One very happy little girl...
Can't you just here the giggles from this picture? The best thing about Ruby, she has brought the love of laughter and joy into our home in a "new" way. She is so cute, we don't even mind her messes! Oh, and I even caught my "not so sure about this idea" husband, holding her in his lap the other day.

Too cute!
Can you give us some details - what kind of dog is she & how big will she get? (My mom is thinking of getting a pet & I'm trying to help her find a good one.) Thanks.
She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Some of this breed can get up to 15 lbs. but ruby had smaller parents and should only reach about 10lbs. She is so even tempered.
I have to say, she is just the cutest darn thing I have ever seen!
Absolutely precious!!! My mother has a blenheim Cavalier also!
